Dear All,
Yesterday there were protests outside our LA showroom. Our windows were smashed and graffitied. They were vandalized as a result of understandable anger—they are easily fixed. What’s far from fixed is racism in this nation. We don’t accept racism. We stand for equality.
We face many challenges as a society—there’s divisiveness on almost every level. It’s the responsibility of all of us to look inside ourselves and do what we can to repair these deep divisions. It is not ok to simply accept the privilege Heath has and keep on going, wishing we could go back to “normal.” “Normal" wasn’t acceptable in the first place. We can do better. We will do better, together.
Rebuilding out of the pandemic, not just as a company, but as a society—it’s imperative that we find a new “normal” that’s better than before. We prioritize the fundamental principle that we are all created equal. We can do better. We will do better, together.
Stay safe and love one another. We’ll get through this.
