Because packages can be susceptible to handling conditions in transit that are less than ideal, our shipping boxes are among the strongest available.
Not Just Filler
To carefully and securely hold your purchase in place for shipping, we use Expandos™—triangular fillers made from post-consumer chipboard. In the early 2000s, as part of our commitment to environmental responsibility, we switched to Expandos™ (at the time, a little-known product) to completely replace our styrofoam packaging.
This eco-conscious solution (Expandos™ are both reusable and recyclable) has the additional appeal of creating a striking, geometric wonderland as you open your package. We’ve seen customers do truly innovative things with these neat bits.
In Store Pickup
Our ongoing in store pickup option is an even more cost-effective, eco-friendly option that uses minimal packing and saves on shipping costs (better for you AND the environment). If you’re local, you’ll love this option.
Gift Wrapping
There's nothing quite like the anticipation of unwrapping a gift (especially one from Heath). We have gift boxes and twine available to you—just ask us at checkout! We use shredded newsprint as filler. A lovely visual effect and an eco-one too. For a personal touch, add a handwritten card to your order at checkout.
