Behold the palette: Desert, Wave, and Grove evoke geographical landscapes in tonal, matte glazes—a peaceful backdrop to the high-contrast, glossy effects of our special technique glazes Neptune (below) and Mars.
One of the true joys we experience twice a year (at least) is the season's special technique glaze exploration, where we spread our wings and push what's possible with glaze. This season led to layering opposite colors, incorporating a technical wax-resist method, and twice-firing each piece (yes, fired in the kiln twice). Together, this labor-of-love process results in undulating colors that vibrate ever-so-differently on each object.
Finally, shipping times are delayed and stock levels are impacted, due to California's shelter-in-place. With that, orders may be placed and virtual enjoyment may be had. Your goods will join you as soon as humanely possible—promise!
