This special gathering is an opportunity to explore how textiles are used as a vehicle for expression, how the act of making supports community organization, and how material culture documents activism and movements throughout history. In among numerous inspiring discussions, the event will feature a celebratory dinner on April 21st, sponsored by Heath and cooked by the phenomenal chef and cookbook author Whitney Otawka.
