February 2025
Introducing, a very limited edition line of dinnerware made between Heath Ceramics and Bombera, a favorite local eatery in Oakland, CA. With Chef Dominica Rice-Cisneros at the helm, Bombera has changed the culinary landscape of Oakland with her take on Chicana cooking.
Available for a limited time, familiar shapes are now in glazes with Bombera’s Mexican flair. Where we see a Covered Serving Dish, Dominica sees a Tortillero! You get the idea.
Launch Party
Meet Chef Dominica at the Heath SF and Heath LA showrooms, and enjoy a delicious spread of tostadas and palomas to celebrate the collaboration.

I’ve had a long-standing relationship with Heath. First in 1999 when I was working at Chez Panisse in Berkeley, then Cosecha in 2011, and now Bombera’s own limited edition collaboration. It’s so exciting, I can’t believe it.
About the Collaboration
Passion, pride, and playfulness; that’s how we make ceramics, how Chef Dominica Rice-Cisneros runs Bombera, and why you’ll love this collaboration.
Inspired by the vibrant, beautiful food that Bombera serves and taking cues from traditional Mexican ceramics, we took three classic Heath shapes and reimagined them in a range of beloved glazes.
A limited run of pieces launched on February 14, 2025 in showrooms and online at heathceramics.pro. After the pieces are gone, you can still enjoy them at Bombera in Oakland anytime.
