October 13 – October 22
We are beyond excited to share our first collaborative product, a custom edition of Sabah’s Baba shoe, made in their El Paso, Texas workshop, as part of our Winter Seasonal collection.
Inspired by Heath’s dedication to glaze experimentation, these handmade Babas are sprayed with leather paints and mimic a signature faded glazing technique by Heath.
The colorway speaks to Heath’s Winter Seasonal collection and our shared love of the patina that develops with loving use, be it unglazed clay or vegetable tanned leather.

"Designing by hand in our respective materials, leather and glaze, made it so fun to explore together how craft techniques extend and evolve past their origins".
In celebration of this inaugural product, Heath will be hosting a Sabah pop-up shop from October 13-22 in our San Francisco location. Sabah will have a wide range of their products available and knowledgeable staff to assist with fit for visitors.

About Sabah
After receiving a pair of traditional Turkish slippers as a gift while living in Istanbul, Sabah founder Mickey Ashmore realized what fantastic everyday shoes they were, especially for traveling. Inspired, he contacted the family who has been creating this style of shoe since the late 1800s, discovering one of the last traditional shoemakers of its kind, and the most well-reputed in Turkey.
Today, Sabah has a team of 30 craftspeople still focused on impeccable quality, locally sourced leather, and colorful, friendly designs.
